Born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia, I graduated from Dartmouth College in 2022, where I wrote an honors thesis focused on colonialist romantic and sexual representations of Southeast Asian women in musical theatre.

Since then, I’ve focused on work that interrogates the relationship between race, culture, colonialism, and sexuality — and how we can use our knowledge of the past + present to influence the way we build relationships and relate to each other.

I’m drawn to the mysterious and puzzling, which is probably why I also like constructing crosswords and solving escape rooms.
